Nishimuro Noji

Nishimuro Noji was born in Nara Prefecture. He
served at the Penghu Prefectural Police Station in 1912.
During his tenure as a police officer, he noticed the
potential of Penghu's fishery; he thus turned to work in an
aquaculture company after quitting his public servant job.
Besides managing the Nishimuro Main Store alongside
other branches and pharmacies, Nishimuro also presented
himself as a successful businessman by raking in sizable
revenue via a business harvesting “Tiancao” produced in
Wangan. His shop is now a designated store for the navy.
He is also a member of the Magong Town Council, and
serves his region enthusiastically.
