Ide Hidetaka
I d e w a s b o r n i n S a g a
Prefecture. He came to Taiwan as
a military police officer in
February 1896. He founded a
s m a l l K i m o n o s t o r e a f t e r
retirement and has now become a
top-class businessman in Magong
after 36 years of hard working.
People consider him a significant
figure in the Kimono industry. Ide
currently serves as a member of
the Magong Town Council, the
Chairman of the Chamber of
Commerce and Industry, and the
Chairperson of the Magong
F i n a n c e C r e d i t U n i o n . H i s
business is now majorly run by
h i s s o n , a r e s e r v e s e c o n d
lieutenant, and as competent as
his father.
