Iwao Kakutarō and his family
Tokiwarō: Iwao Kakutarō was born in Ooita. He came to Taiwan as a
lecturer for the Penghu Prefectural Experimental Aquaculture Farm in 1909.
He later served at military establishments such as the Regiment of Military
Police of the Army Fortress Headquarters and the heavy artillery regiment
before opening the restaurant “Tokiwarō” in March this year.
