Sunsets at Xiyu Isle

Xiyu, also known as the Fisherman Island, is a small island aligning parallelly to Penghu
Island on its west; this is how the Island got its name (Xiyu means “west isle” in Chinese). The
“Xiyuluoxia” among the top eight sceneries of Taiwan refers to the sunsets you can see on this
Island. Descriptions of other popular historical sites can be found in captions of photos
presented later in this book, so I will not write about them here.

The beach resort at Biantian Cape

The March of the Beach Resort

            (1) Summer is here, let's go to the beach. The Biantian Cape is our swimming pool. The view is
great; the beach extending far into the shallow water. The water is clear; the beach is white

            (2) The locker room is clean; the well comes in handy. Cool breezes make people oblivious of
sweating. Beautiful shells, energetic tiny crabs. Humans and fish swim together.

            (3) You are a black skipjack tuna and I a red bream. Dancing with waves and feeling free. Summer
is the right time for workouts. The ocean is a place for spiritual enrichment.
